Details: CAPS Fire, Inc. provides Pumps for Clean Agent Fire Protection Systems - Innovative Delivery Systems for Halon Alternatives.
We have successfully demonstrated that pumps can be used as a delivery mechanism instead of high pressure cylinders for halon alternatives. The pumps are designed for use with 3M Novec 1230 Fire Protection Fluid although other clean agents can be pumped. Clean agent pumps are available as components through any clean agent OEM for integration into a complete fire protection system.
Agent delivery can be accomplished via the industry standard 10 second discharge, modified for a longer extended discharge when required or controlled with a gas detection system with a cycled on/off operation to maintain inertion concentration of ignitable vapors. Combining the discharge flexibility with the option of custom molded atmospheric storage tanks for OEM applications, CAPS Fire Inc. is poised to become the industry leader in clean agent fire pumps.
