With our process you can easily: Reverse engineer your tool, die, part, mold or any insert, troubleshoot, inspect or reproduce them quickly and precisely. Make changes in your die or mold, even if you don't have CAD data. Make cutter paths right away from our data, check the tool, die, part or mold against the original CAD. Store the digital shape of any thing and view the results in easy to understand color plots.
Our state of the Art Digitizing systems can measure freeform shapes and parts quickly and easily. Our process is fast, accurate and highly efficient, providing downstream applications with good clean data which you can use for a variety of purposes. The point cloud may contain about 5 million or more measurement xyz points, which, if measured by a CMM, would take a very long time. If required, we can convert that point cloud data to a surface model, or an STL model, both of which can be delivered to you in any format. Or, we can just deliver cross sections or splines to you. We can even update your CAD model using the part or tool scan as a reference. We also provide color error maps of comparison between the part or the tool with the original CAD. If desired, we can do a comparison of different parts with each other.
